AMP Radio can now be used for all local playback of MP3 files. Simply drag an MP3 file onto AMP Radio's Player window, and it will begin playing. Now, our hierarchical playlist makes AMP Radio the complete MP3 solution. AMP Radio's MP3 file type/creator is MP3 /MDMA. To have files autoplay in AMP Radio after being double-clicked in the Finder, just turn on "Change Creator/Type" in Preferences.
Playlist Menu
AMP Radio now features a Playlist Menu. Simply save your playlists to the Playlist Folder in AMP Radio's folder, and the Playlist Menu will pick them up, allowing for easy loading.
Playlist Window

AMP Radio sports an incredible hierarchical playlist, one of the only players on the Mac with this amazing feature.
Shuffle
Shuffle will cause AMP Radio to resort the playlist in a random order. Click it off to revert to your previous sorting method.
Repeat all
Repeat all causes the playlist to loop back to its beginning when it has finished, repeating from the start.
Adding Files to the Playlist
Adding files to the playlist is simple. Just drag a file or folder from the Finder, and the files will automatically be added. If you have an MP3 folder divided in some way, perhaps by group, album or genre, drag the entire folder onto the playlist, and groups will appear mirroring the organization found in the Finder. Please note the playlist does not update with changes to the Finder.
Adding Groups to the Playlist
To add a group in the playlist, just choose "New Group" from the edit menu, or press (Command-N). A folder named "Untitled Group" will appear. This group can then be moved as desired.
Renaming Groups
To rename a group, simply highlight it, and choose "Get Info..." from the File menu, or press (Command-I).
Sorting the Playlist
The playlist can be sorted in two ways. Clicking "Name" will sort tracks alphabetically. Clicking "Time" puts the playlist in order by time. This can be modified to go from A-Z or Z-A, or from highest time to lowest, by clicking the ascension triangle in the upper right hand corner of the playlist.
Searching the Playlist
The playlist can easily be searched for keywords. Select "Find" from the "File" menu, or get the Find dialogue box by pressing (Command-F). Next, enter the text to search for. The playlist will find the first instance of this text in a station name. Choose "Find Again" from the "File" Menu, or press (Command-G) to cycle to the next occurance of this text.
Saving A Playlist
To save a playlist, choose "Save Playlist" from the File menu, or press (Command-S). This will create a "Playlsits" folder in the directory AMP Radio resides in, and place a file called "Playlist 1" inside it. Choose "Save Playlist As..." to save it under a different name.
